Top Ten Reasons Behind Alcohol Relapse

Article by Randolph Matthews

I struggled with alcohol dependency for quite some time. Throughout that time, I discovered many of the best ways to relapse back to consuming alcohol. This is because I believed every little thing I had been told about alcoholism rather than researching this carefully myself. I needed to do a great deal of investigating to find the reality about alcoholism and what causes it. I additionally needed to experience numerous alcohol relapses on the road to these kinds of discoveries.Ths issue was using traditional approaches for handling alcoholism. These techniques do not deal with the primary inherent problem that is actually physical as well as biochemical. Right now I realize this and have resolved this problem within myself, I decided to discuss my top ten causes of alcoholic relapse.10 – Not ExercisingPhysical exercise is one of the things I’m going to place on this listing because it encourages a healthy body for anyone. Nevertheless exercise additionally encourages and also produces feel good chemical compounds known as endorphins. A deficiency of endorphins leads to biochemical issues and leads to such ailments as depression and also anxiety. These are conditions that often lead to physical distress and drinking alcohol in an effort to relieve it. 9 – Eating Fast FoodFast food is incredibly toxic and it has lots of sugars and simple carbs. These companies put the actual most inexpensive ingredients feasible into all of their items. These unhealthy food can be utterly hazardous and adversely impact our own biochemistry. The outcome is a weakened neuroendocrine system as well as an addiction to sugars as well as simple carbohydrates. These tend to be synonymous with an addiction to alcohol.8 – Attending Alcohol RehabTreatment facilities don’t usually deal with the main problem and the reason behind alcohol addiction. They continue to utilize outdated techniques approaching the actual mental condition with the individual. It ought to be noted that addiction to alcohol is more a physical handicap than a psychological disease. Thus, by not fixing the human body’s chemistry, they grow to be merely revolving doors for alcoholics.7 – Attending AA MeetingsI’m sure this one is going to fire up plenty of resentment, but I know through practical experience why AA does not work. This particular organization, although really noble in their premise, continues utilizing a very out-of-date way of handling alcohol addiction. Just about all the actual principles that this program is based on had been created more than seventy five years ago and also have not really changed a bit. For that reason, they haven’t taken into account recent research which has proven that alcohol addiction is really a metabolic condition, not really a mental disability. Another serious issue with Alcoholics Anonymous is that almost all meetings include a huge selection sweets and treats. The organization even recommends using these in order to stop alcohol cravings. The problem with this really is that attempting to halt an alcohol craving (which is actually a sugar craving) by eating sugar does absolutely nothing to completely solve the problem. It only helps to restart the actual vicious circle of blood sugar imbalance, the main reason for alcoholism.6 – Going to a Medical DoctorMedical doctors tend not to deal with alcoholics since they realize that they can’t assist them with the tools they have. They are not trained in any natural options or methods, so they can’t tackle the actual issue. All they are able to do is prescribe drugs which just makes the condition even worse over time. Physicians are also known to send individuals to AA, which offers its very own problems. See number 7 previously mentioned.5 – Going to a PsychiatristPsychiatrists tend to be firm believers that almost everything connected to alcoholism is actually caused by a mental disorder. Since their diagnosis is incorrect, their own treatment is usually wrong. Instead of providing dietary advice, they just prescribe drugs plus more treatment as being a so called solution. Not the drugs nor the therapy will serve to deal with the basis of the problem. 4 – Assuming that You are PowerlessThis is actually the first step of the 12 step program that AA uses as its foundation. According to this step, you have to admit that you’re completely powerless and that your life is unmanageable. Using this approach, you have literally given yourself a death sentence with no chance take control of the situation. Hence, you are doomed to a life of endless meetings and group therapy in an effort to not drink alcohol one day at a time.3 – Cigarette SmokingSmoking cigarettes isn’t good for you in several ways plus negatively affects your biochemistry in similar ways that alcohol consumption does. Cigarette smoking injures your body and causes problems with blood sugar in addition to a person’s brain biochemistry. These

Suffering From Panic Attacks Because Of Alcohol?

Article by Randolph Summit

First off a panic attack is when you feel fear that is intense, and possibly a discomfort that may appear suddenly. Making you sweat, heart palpitate, stomach feel upset, and even shortness of breath. You may feel as if you’re going completely crazy or going to die even.

Unfortunately many people may take to drinking in order to deal with the anxiety or panic they are feeling. Not only creating one problem, but adding to it the fact of possibly becoming an alcoholic. So try not to use alcohol as a treatment to those feelings of panic.

If you are trying to stop drinking though you can cause a problem with panic in that case too. Your body will be craving the alcohol, and make you feel as if you are sick, and the only way to cure that feeling in your stomach is to take a drink.

Plus many medicines that you get to help out with panic attacks are ones that require you not to drink, it can lead to death in some cases. So if nothing else you need to deal with the problem of drinking first. Perhaps realizing that you have other ways to deal with those panic attacks will help out in a way.

Try and see a therapist and get help via that method. Get on medicines too, but stop with the drinking. It could be the biggest cause of the panic attacks or of them seeming worse than what they need to be. It’s just not an advisable option to helping with Panic-Attacks-From-Alcohol

Many people though will fight with this problem, because they want that fast action when it comes to forgetting about pain. But no matter what you need to fight off the feeling that you need to have that alcohol. Because it may be a bit harder for a doctor to figure out whether the cause is alcohol for your panic attacks, or if it’s only adding to it.

Finally, you may be able to use some sort of relaxation exercise to get those panic attacks stopped. Try listing to music or watching something you’ve always loved. Talking to a good friend, or going and doing something with your children. Lavender is also a good way to feel relaxed, get some incense and burn them to help lighten the mood. Just avoid the alcohol at any cost and see if your panic attacks are just as bad or better.

Roots of Alcohol Addiction

Article by Sarah Reyes

Alcohol addiction is a common problem for men, and the society does not prohibit the consumption of this mood altering substance though. Moreover, some men begin drinking early so they become addicts in the long run.

In some families, it is a regular habit to consume alcohol during mealtime. Therefore, men do not find anything wrong with drinking alcohol; but they do not realize the importance of setting age limits that they continue to drink alcohol until they become old. When a man started to drink alcohol during his young age, it may become his long-standing habit, and he can’t live without alcohol.

They consume more alcohol and soon addiction becomes a problem. Alcohol addiction is result of too much stress for some. They go drinking to escape problems and stress for a while; what they do not realize is that reaching for a bottle of beer become their way to justify stress.

Stress is not a reason to drink alcohol but there are different stress-levels an individual can encounter in his life. Alcoholics enjoy their “light-headed” feeling once they feel drunk. However, when drinking is done regularly, it becomes a hard to break habit. It also makes the person’s system immune to certain alcohol levels and eventually consume higher dosage of it. Alcoholics take up more than what they can actually handle.

Apart from stress, lack of confidence is also a cause of alcohol addiction. There are some people who transform once they are drunk. They bring out their real selves once alcohol comes in to their systems. When a person is naturally shy, and cannot seem to express himself effectively and pronouncedly, they can transform into the kind of folk they desire once they get drunk. They may become a Superman or a Walking Dictionary, or a super power creature, once alcohol strikes in.

Alcohol addiction is also caused by fear of rejection, change in career, and other factors. Some people tend to go on a night out when they suffer from pain of rejection. Perhaps, a man being turned down by a woman may result to an all night of partying which can go on for a couple of months as they keep feeling depress.

Whatever the reason of alcohol addiction is, it should not justify the craving for alcohol. Don’t become a slave of this habit because it ruins one’s life and makes him feel even more stressed and depressed. Stop the habit as soon as it starts, for alcohol addiction brings no good anyone’s life.
